The Commis III - Pastry is responsible for preparing and cooking food following recipes, quality, and presentation standards. This role involves preparing ingredients, using baking and measuring tools safely, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation procedures, monitoring food quality and portions, maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area, and following all company policies including safety and security. The position requires physical tasks such as moving and lifting objects up to 25 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods, while supporting team goals and maintaining a professional appearance and communication.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Less than 1-year related work experience.

No supervisory experience.

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.

Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

Ability to follow recipes and use baking and measuring tools safely.

Ability to comply with food safety handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.

Ability to maintain professional appearance and use clear, professional communication.

Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
