Job Description

The Constable role involves day-to-day interactions with university staff and students, ensuring compliance with security protocols and responding to incidents as they arise. The work environment is dynamic, requiring effective communication and coordination with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooperate with the Police Department of Subang Jaya to uphold law and order.
  • Follow orders from the OCPD and subordinates to ensure effective security operations.
  • Assist in managing the Auxiliary Police Team and coordinating security activities.
  • Monitor and patrol university premises to deter and detect security breaches.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
  • Interact courteously with students, staff, and visitors to promote a safe environment.
  • Maintain and operate Department equipment relevant to the position.

Job Requirements

Minimum academic qualification of SPM.

Must possess a valid driver’s license without restrictions or with correctable restrictions.

Ability to communicate effectively in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Understanding of Department rules, regulations, and procedures.

Good physical condition and ability to handle various end users.

Pro-active and result-oriented mindset.

Free from physical, emotional, or mental conditions that might adversely affect performance.
