Contact Network Engineer DMZ – The Cigna Group

The Contact Network Engineer DMZ-WAN is responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network solutions within a datacenter environment. This role significantly impacts the efficiency and security of network operations, focusing on advanced technologies such as F5 load balancers and Palo Alto firewalls.

In this position, you will engage in day-to-day network design and implementation tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and security of network services. You will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes innovation and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network solutions for datacenter environments.
• Collaborate on design proposals and new solution deployments.
• Support application and system migrations to enhance network performance.
• Manage network documentation and configurations for accuracy and compliance.
• Troubleshoot network and system connectivity issues effectively.
• Develop and deploy F5 LTM/APM load balancing solutions.
• Implement and configure Palo Alto firewalls to secure network traffic.
