The position requires collaboration with Sales, Finance, Legal, and other teams to ensure compliance with credit policies and the accuracy of financial reporting.
The Credit Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with global credit policies and adapting best practices to local business needs. This role involves maintaining effective credit control processes to assess creditworthiness, support sales growth, and minimize bad debt risk. The analyst monitors accounts receivable quality, collaborates with Sales and collection teams for timely payments, coordinates with Legal on escalated collection cases, and partners with Finance/Accounting to ensure accuracy and prepare reports. They highlight credit issues to management and provide recommendations, guide local controllers and Sales teams, conduct credit research, approve credit limits, screen and approve new customers, and manage daily credit activities.
Strong analytical skills relevant to credit assessment.
Knowledge of credit control processes and procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, and Legal teams.
Good communication and training skills to guide teams on credit management.
Ability to conduct independent credit research and decision-making within authority.
Attention to detail in monitoring accounts receivable and preparing reports.
Capability to manage multiple credit-related tasks and escalate issues as needed.
