Job Description
The Curriculum Support Teacher at Taylor's International School engages in daily activities that involve delivering small group interventions and providing in-class assistance to students with diverse learning needs. Collaborating closely with the Head of Curriculum Support, the teacher contributes to differentiated teaching practices to enhance student learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver small group interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide in-class assistance to support students with additional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement differentiated teaching strategies.
- Liaise with parents to discuss student progress and needs.
- Coordinate with external support agencies to ensure comprehensive student support.
- Monitor and assess student progress in targeted interventions.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the changing needs of students.
Job Requirements
A recognized teaching qualification such as a Bachelor of Education or PGCE.
Specialist training or qualifications in SEN are highly desirable.
Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
Experience in planning and delivering targeted interventions for individuals and small groups.
Strong understanding of current SEN theory, practice, and statutory requirements.
