The Data Center Technician Electrical is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a data center operation. This full-time role involves supporting daily site inspections of mechanical and engineering systems, reacting to building management system alarms, coordinating with third-party vendors, completing planned and reactive maintenance tasks, and ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Training in a technical discipline with 1-2 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
Ability to effectively present information to internal departments, clients, management, or colleagues.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate simple figures like percentages, discounts, and markups.
