The role involves overseeing continuous improvement of academic programs to meet regulatory/accreditation standards, industry expectations, and student needs, as well as leading academic staff development, promoting research engagement, and excellence in teaching and learning. The Dean ensures compliance with relevant regulatory bodies, represents the Faculty in university and external forums, facilitates research initiatives and funding, builds relationships with industry and professional bodies, and enhances student engagement and professional development.
