Job Description
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy faculty, ensuring high standards of education and research are maintained. You will work closely with faculty members, students, and external partners to promote innovation and continuous improvement in pharmacy education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction and management of the pharmacy faculty.
- Ensure accreditation and program quality through rigorous oversight.
- Promote research, innovation, and scholarly work within the faculty.
- Oversee faculty hiring, mentoring, and evaluation processes.
- Manage budgets and financial resources effectively.
- Build partnerships with healthcare, industry, and community sectors.
- Support student success, recruitment, and development initiatives.
- Guide curriculum design and continuous improvement efforts.
- Encourage collaboration and uphold ethics and integrity within the faculty.
- Report progress and achievements to university leadership.
Job Requirements
PhD in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 7-10 years in academic leadership roles (e.g., Dean, Associate Dean, Head of Department).
Strong portfolio of scholarly publications and research grants.
Deep understanding of pharmacy education standards and accreditation processes.
Demonstrated experience in building partnerships with healthcare institutions and pharmaceutical companies.
Exceptional interpersonal and strategic thinking skills.
Registered with the Board of Pharmacy.
Fluent in English and Mandarin.
