The Account Administrator is responsible for managing daily accounting tasks using AutoCount within the construction industry. The role involves handling full accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and tax requirements.
The role involves handling the full set of accounts and daily accounting operations using AutoCount. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, managing project costing and billing specific to construction projects, performing bank reconciliation and financial closing processes, preparing statutory reports, monitoring project expenses, assisting in employee claims, ensuring compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and tax requirements, liaising with external parties, and performing administrative duties including documentation and coordination with site offices.
Diploma/Bachelor0s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Relevant experience in the construction industry.
Proficient in AutoCount accounting software.
Solid knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and statutory compliance.
Strong Excel skills and experience in managing digital accounting workflows.
Good time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
