Job Description
The Demand Planner will be responsible for managing demand for APAC regional product categories and the Indian Subcontinent. This role involves developing aligned demand plans for near to long term, coordinating with regional market and sub-regional managers and commercial directors, and ensuring integration with supply chain processes. The position includes leading the sub-regional demand team, participating in commercial meetings and cross-functional projects, and complying with company directives and training requirements. The role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and may require occasional overseas travel within APAC or internationally.
Job Requirements
Degree or master’s in business administration, international trade/business, or supply chain planning.
At least 5 years’ experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning/Forecasting, or Sales & Inventory Management.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office365 software including MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook, and SharePoint.
Ability to learn and use demand management software.
Team-oriented approach and ability to work in a matrix organization.
Ability to work as part of a diverse and high-energy team.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to maintain effective work relations with colleagues.
