Job Description

The Demi Chef is responsible for preparing special meals and substitute items, regulating the temperature of cooking equipment, and ensuring proper food portioning, arrangement, and garnish. The role involves maintaining food logs, monitoring food quality and quantity, coordinating with the Chef and Food & Beverage staff about menu items and specials, and preparing food according to recipes and quality standards. Additionally, this position supports management in employee-related tasks and adheres to company safety, security, and appearance policies while fostering positive team relationships and addressing guest service needs.

Job Requirements

Education at a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School level.

At least 3 years of related work experience.

No supervisory experience is required.

Ability to maintain cleanliness and professional personal appearance.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

Ability to reach overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Ability to follow company and safety policies and procedures.

Ability to protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
