Role Summary
The Deputy General Manager, Litigation is responsible for strategic oversight and management of all litigation and dispute resolution matters. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding the Group’s interests while ensuring effective resolution of disputes in alignment with business objectives.
Job Description
In this role, you will oversee the litigation processes and manage contentious matters related to Mah Sing’s property development and business operations. You will provide legal leadership and work closely with various stakeholders to minimize legal risks and enhance business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all litigation and dispute resolution processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate legal risks.
- Provide legal advice to senior management on contentious matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business objectives.
- Negotiate settlements and represent the Group in legal proceedings.
- Monitor and analyze legal developments affecting the Group.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Job Requirements
Professional Degree in Law
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in litigation
At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role
Strong knowledge of civil, commercial, and property law
High level of integrity and professionalism
