In this role, the Deputy Head of Secondary School will engage in daily leadership activities, fostering a collaborative environment among staff and students. The position requires a proactive approach to educational leadership and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Secondary in strategic planning and operational management.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to enhance communication within the school community.
- Lead initiatives that promote effective teaching and learning practices.
- Oversee the implementation of curriculum across MYP, IGCSE, and IBDP phases.
- Foster an inclusive environment for diverse learners and EAL students.
- Advocate for the school’s vision and values in all interactions.
- Participate in key whole school events and activities to promote community engagement.
Job Requirements
Proven track record of impactful leadership in a Secondary School.
A relevant degree plus teaching qualification or equivalent.
Higher degree or recognized professional qualification is preferred.
Experience in an international school environment.
Evidence of continued relevant professional development.
Coaching accreditation is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
