Role Summary
The Deputy Manager, App Development is responsible for the end-to-end implementation and technical integration of patient-fronting applications across multiple hospital sites. This role bridges technical development and clinical operations, requiring frequent travel for on-site requirements gathering, vendor management, and go-live support.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless system interoperability and agile support for digital initiatives. You will work in a dynamic environment that combines technical expertise with clinical operations to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of patient-fronting applications across multiple hospital sites.
- Manage technical integration and ensure system interoperability.
- Conduct on-site requirements gathering and vendor management.
- Provide go-live support for application launches.
- Collaborate with clinical operations to align technical development with healthcare needs.
- Troubleshoot code-level issues and provide solutions.
- Support ad-hoc digital initiatives as required.
Job Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Project Management and System Integration.
Strong background in programming with troubleshooting skills.
Proven experience in networking and server environments.
Experience in managing tender works and vendor recommendations.
Hands-on knowledge of any database.
Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is preferred.
