The Deputy Manager, Strategic Planning is responsible for supporting the Senior Manager in strategic planning and execution of key initiatives within Allied and Retail Health Operations. This role involves overseeing strategic projects and ensuring the department's efficiency while contributing to the organization's strategic development.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve monitoring and executing strategic initiatives within a dynamic healthcare environment. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure timely project execution and maintain operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Manager in strategic planning and execution of initiatives.
- Oversee strategic projects and ensure timely execution.
- Write investment committee and board papers.
- Maintain departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Spearhead ad hoc projects critical to strategic development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project goals.
- Monitor project progress and report on key metrics.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field
At least five (5) years working experience in strategic planning, project management or a related role
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
