The Director of Sales leads and manages all daily activities related to the sales function with a focus on developing long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve property sales objectives. This role includes setting and meeting personal booking goals, collaborating with management to develop and execute sales strategies and plans, maximizing revenue, managing sales team activities, analyzing market and financial data, ensuring exceptional customer service, building successful relationships, and overseeing human resource activities within the sales function.
Education equivalent to a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 3 years experience in sales and marketing or related professional area; or a 4-year bachelor's degree in the same fields with 1 year experience in sales and marketing or related professional area.
Ability to lead and manage sales operations effectively.
Capability to develop and implement sales strategies and plans.
Experience in maximizing revenue and setting booking goals.
Skills in monitoring and supporting sales team activities.
Experience in analyzing market and financial information to support sales goals.
Strong customer service skills and ability to lead by example.
Ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with recruitment and training of sales staff.
Knowledge of compliance with local, state, and federal regulations relevant to sales operations.
Capability to represent the company at customer events, trade shows, and sales missions.
