The Director of Sales leads and manages all daily sales activities to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that support the achievement of property sales objectives. This role includes setting and recommending booking goals, supporting and executing sales strategies, maximizing revenue, managing sales activities, analyzing sales and financial data, ensuring exceptional customer service, and building successful relationships with key stakeholders.
Must have a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or related professional area, OR a 4-year bachelor's degree in the same fields with 1 year of related experience.
Ability to lead and implement sales strategies effectively.
Demonstrated capability in managing sales activities and achieving revenue goals.
Strong skills in analyzing market information, sales, and financial data to meet financial objectives.
Proven leadership in customer service and hospitality to enhance guest relations.
Competence in developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in collaborating with various sales channels and departments to meet property needs.
Ability to manage human resource activities including interviewing and hiring employees.
Commitment to enforcing company Customer Service Standards and Brand Standards.
Willingness to participate in customer events, trade shows, and sales missions to build relationships.
Ability to empower employees to provide excellent customer service and provide feedback for improvement.
