The Director of Sales at Sheraton Johor Bahru leads and manages all day-to-day activities related to the sales function, focusing on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve property sales objectives. This role includes supporting the development and execution of sales strategies, maximizing revenue, managing sales activities, analyzing sales and financial data, ensuring exceptional customer service, building successful relationships, and managing human resource activities.
A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major with 3 years experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area, OR a 4-year bachelor's degree in the same fields with at least 1 year of experience.
Ability to support and implement sales strategies effectively.
Leadership skills to maximize revenue potential and achieve booking goals.
Experience in managing sales activities and conducting sales calls to acquire new business.
Skills in analyzing market information and sales data to meet financial goals.
Capability to ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
Ability to build and manage key relationships internally and externally.
Experience in managing human resource activities including interviewing and hiring employees.
