Job Description
As a Drafter focused on Construction Steel, you will engage in daily tasks that involve preparing shop drawings and cutting lists while calculating raw material ratios for costing reports. You will work closely with the Project Manager and contribute to various tasks that enhance productivity and support departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare essential sales order documents, including shop drawings and cutting lists.
- Calculate raw material ratios for accurate costing reports.
- Create fabrication and submission drawings in compliance with company guidelines.
- Address inquiries promptly to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assist the Project Manager with various tasks as needed.
- Maintain calculation sheets and templates to enhance productivity.
- Generate reports to support departmental goals.
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in drafting, preferably for steel.
Proficient in preparing technical drawings and reports.
Strong understanding of project documentation and costing.
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills for addressing inquiries.
Familiarity with MOM systems and Synology folders.
