The Early Career - Advanced Process Control Applications Engineer is responsible for contributing to the Process Control Applications team. This role involves collaborating on a global scale to enhance process control applications and improve unit performance and energy use.

In this position, you will work within the Kuala Lumpur Technology Center, engaging with a diverse team to support the sustainability of process control applications worldwide. Your day-to-day activities will include developing and deploying new control applications across various business lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Process Control Applications team to enhance global applications.
• Support the development and deployment of new control applications.
• Analyze unit performance and energy use to identify improvement opportunities.
• Design and implement effective control applications for downstream refining and petrochemical industries.
• Utilize Distributed Control System (DCS) software and hardware platforms.
• Engage in procedural automation and sequential control tasks.
• Apply model predictive control software and simulation tools to optimize processes.
