Job Description
The Engineer/Executive - Proposal (QS) works at the Headquarter located in Subang Jaya, Selangor, engaging in daily activities that include site visits, tender briefings, and project scope definition. The role requires close coordination with in-house consultants and suppliers to develop comprehensive construction execution plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and tender briefings.
- Assist in defining project scope and requirements.
- Source and determine eligible suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Coordinate with in-house consultants on design preferences and solutions.
- Create construction execution plans with resource allocation.
- Estimate and analyze costs for projects.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Update tender costing databases.
- Prepare bills of quantity from drawings.
- Conduct feasibility studies on jobs or contracts.
Job Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
4 to 5 years of related working experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
1 to 3 years of related working experience at an executive level as a Quantity Surveyor.
Knowledge of the construction and engineering industry.
Experience in construction estimating and costing.
