The Engineering Technician at Sheraton Johor Bahru engages in daily maintenance tasks and responds to guest requests, ensuring a comfortable stay for all visitors. The technician works closely with other team members to uphold the hotel's standards of service and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to guest repair requests promptly.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Visually inspect machines and equipment for issues.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and necessary equipment.
- Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts.
- Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs.
- Program TVs and conduct landscaping repairs.
- Utilize computer systems for maintenance input and scheduling.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
Some experience in general maintenance and surface preparation.
Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
Possession of a valid Driver's License.
Ability to communicate professionally and clearly.
Basic computer skills for maintenance input.
