As an Events Manager, you will prepare all event documentation and coordinate between Sales, property departments, and customers to ensure high-level service across all event phases. You will handle events of average complexity, identifying revenue opportunities through up-selling and ensuring a seamless transition from sales to execution. Key duties include managing logistics, overseeing group room blocks, and resolving operational challenges. You will also lead event meetings and support revenue forecasting to ensure memorable guest experiences and operational excellence.
High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of experience in event management.
Or a 2-year degree in Hospitality or Business with at least 1 year of experience.
Proficient in managing event logistics and operations for mid-to-large sized groups.
Ability to coordinate between sales, property departments, and clients for seamless service.
Experience in identifying revenue opportunities through up-selling and service enhancements.
Skilled in leading pre- and post-event meetings to ensure operational alignment.
Strong problem-solving abilities to handle guest complaints and operational challenges.
Excellent communication skills for managing guest relations and providing Chic service.
