The role involves managing sales for Caterpillar Industrial Engines and Generator aftermarket business across all branches. Responsibilities include preparing sales reports, forecasting, planning, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting branches to achieve sales targets and KPIs. The position requires monitoring market trends, customer data, and competitor activities, as well as maintaining market updates and partnering with branches to share insights. Additional duties include developing and maintaining sales and product information resources, promoting parts campaigns and nationwide promotions, and carrying out product support sales functions. Training customers and product support specialists through CAT Care Schools is part of the role alongside supporting branches with sales plans. The role also involves identifying sales growth opportunities in non-Cat parts and services, collaborating with the Service Department, promoting customer support programs such as S.O.S, CTS, MIP, and EIP, and working cross-functionally with other departments to align strategies and contribute to business growth.
