Job Description
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the hospital's engineering services, ensuring that maintenance works are executed efficiently and on schedule. You will conduct regular inspections, coordinate with vendors, and liaise with regulatory bodies to uphold compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement maintenance schedules for hospital facilities.
- Monitor the progress of repair and maintenance works.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare reports on maintenance activities and compliance status.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Job Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or Higher Diploma in related areas.
Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in the service industry, preferably in a healthcare facility environment.
Familiarity with local laws, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to building and safety practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High degree of resourcefulness, integrity, and independent judgment.
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
