Role Summary
The Executive, Hospital Engineering Services is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of hospital facilities. This role requires effective coordination with vendors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and efficiency in operations.
Job Description
To plan, implement and organize the Hospital’s facilities repair maintenance works and monitoring the progress and ensuring the vendors/contractors work in accordance with the schedules at all times. This role involves regular inspections, coordinating maintenance works, liaising with regulatory bodies, and preparing reports to ensure compliance with hospital standards.
Job Requirements
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or Civil Engineering or Higher Diploma in related areas
Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in service industry, preferably in healthcare facility environment
Familiar with local laws, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to the building and safety practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
A high degree of resourcefulness, integrity and independent judgment
Able to work under a pressurized and dynamic environment
