Job Description
As an Executive in Vessel Planning, you will take ownership of the vessel planning process, ensuring efficient and productive operations while prioritizing vessel stability and safety during load and discharge. You will be responsible for providing essential information to vessel and shipping agents regarding loading and discharge processes, facilitating quick and efficient container handling as per customer requirements.
Your role will involve monitoring vessel operations to achieve gross moves per hour targets, preparing and communicating vessel load plans, and ensuring timely delivery of departure paperwork. Additionally, you will train new planners and communicate planning-related issues to supervisors and management, contributing to the overall efficiency of the stevedoring section.
Job Requirements
Possess at least SPM with 3-5 years of related experience in terminal operations or a Diploma/Degree in Maritime Operation or equivalent.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
Physically and mentally fit with good eyesight.
Strong leadership skills and resourcefulness.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Familiarity with the Navis System.
