Job Description
Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), Malaysia’s leading transshipment hub, is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network & Cybersecurity Executive to join our Information Technology Division. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and protection against cyber threats. You will play a key role in network operations, cybersecurity incident response, and infrastructure optimization, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Administration and/or Cybersecurity roles.
Proven hands-on experience in managing enterprise network and security environments.
Strong expertise in network design, routing, switching, and firewall configuration.
Familiarity with Microsoft O365, Linux environments, and SharePoint.
Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, and cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP) are an advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
