
The Food Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) across all food and beverage outlets and production facilities. This role ensures compliance with Malaysian food safety regulations and oversees critical certification programs, impacting the overall safety and quality of food served.
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve conducting food safety audits, training staff, and managing hygiene checks to uphold the highest standards of food safety. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that all food safety protocols are adhered to and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Public Health, Nutrition, or related fields.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in food safety management within hotels, resorts, large-scale F&B operations, or food manufacturing environments.
Strong working knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and Malaysian food safety regulations.
Hands-on experience managing food safety audits and regulatory inspections.
Proven track record in developing and maintaining Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
