Role Summary

The Front Supervisor is responsible for overseeing guest check-ins and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining operational efficiency and quality standards within the hospitality environment.

Job Description

In this role, the Front Supervisor assists staff in resolving payment issues and follows up with guests to ensure their satisfaction. They manage guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and processing payments, while coordinating with various departments to uphold company policies and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist staff in expediting problem payments.
  • Follow up with guests regarding satisfaction with related issues.
  • Handle guest check-ins by confirming reservations and assigning rooms.
  • Issue room keys and process all payment types.
  • Set up accurate guest accounts and anticipate sold-out situations.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as Housekeeping.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.

At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Capability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Willingness to follow all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality.
