Job Description
As a Geoscientist specializing in Opportunity Generation, you will engage in integrated reservoir modeling, subsurface mapping, and well log analysis in a dynamic work environment. Your contributions will be vital in generating field development plans and evaluating drilling programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for oil and gas development projects.
- Conduct integrated reservoir modeling and subsurface mapping.
- Analyze well logs to characterize reservoirs effectively.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to generate field development plans.
- Evaluate drilling programs and optimize production strategies.
- Integrate seismic interpretation and reservoir engineering data.
- Drive depletion planning and reservoir management strategies.
Job Requirements
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Geology, Geophysics or Earth Sciences.
A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in upstream oil and gas.
Expertise in integrated seismic interpretation including quantitative interpretation.
Proven experience in opportunity generation and prospect evaluation.
Previous experience in mature production assets is highly advantageous.
Self-motivated and focused on achieving business results through a multi-discipline team.
Demonstrated teamwork and effective communication skills.
