Role Summary
The Global Accounts Payable (AP) Lead is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable processes within the Global Financial Operations Team. This role significantly impacts the efficiency and compliance of the AP function across multiple global regions including EMEA, APAC, US, and India.
Job Description
In this role, you will oversee daily operations related to invoice processing, vendor management, and team leadership while driving process improvements. The position is based in Penang, Malaysia, with a work schedule aligned to UK hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable processes across global regions.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
- Lead and develop a high-performing accounts payable team.
- Foster and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Oversee compliance and audit processes across multiple geographies.
Job Requirements
Experience managing an Accounts Payable function within a global organization.
Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting concepts.
Proven leadership and team management skills in a global finance environment.
Experience driving change and system implementations, especially in a SAP environment.
Graduate degree, with preference for MBA Finance or professional qualifications relevant to the role.
