Job Description
The Global Accounts Payable (AP) Lead is a key member of the Global Financial Operations Team responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable processes. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, managing vendor relationships, leading a team, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance within the AP function across multiple global regions including EMEA, APAC, US, and India. The role is based in Penang, Malaysia, with a work schedule aligned to UK hours.
Job Requirements
Experience managing an Accounts Payable function within a global organization.
Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting concepts.
Experience with compliance and audit processes across multiple geographies.
Proven leadership and team management skills in a global finance environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Experience driving change and system implementations, especially in a SAP environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP ERP systems.
Graduate degree, with preference for MBA Finance or professional qualifications relevant to the role.
