The Head of Creative at Hepmil Malaysia is responsible for shaping the creative vision for campaigns, inspiring the creative team, and advancing how brands engage with culture. The role requires strategic thinking and hands-on creative leadership to develop social-first creative ideas, lead ideation sessions, and ensure creative concepts align with client objectives and business goals. Additionally, the role involves leading creative development for business pitches, driving creative excellence for revenue growth, mentoring a creative team, and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships. The position also focuses on innovation by staying ahead of social media trends and contributing to thought leadership within the company.
Minimum 8+ years in a creative, content, or digital agency environment, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role driving teams and creative output.
Strong mastery of social platforms especially TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and YouTube with a pulse on emerging formats and innovations.
Deep understanding of the social content ecosystem, particularly short-form video, memes, and culturally relevant formats that shape conversations among Gen Z and millennials.
Demonstrated ability to craft creative strategies that not only push creative boundaries but also deliver measurable business impact for brands.
Proven experience leading and inspiring creative teams, managing multiple stakeholders, and successfully driving campaigns from ideation to execution.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to sell bold ideas, influence decision-makers, and energize both clients and internal teams.
Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight timelines.
Exposure to branded video content, creator collaborations, influencer marketing, or social commerce will be a strong advantage.
Comfortable thriving in a hybrid work setup and fast-paced, ever-evolving agency environment.
