Job Description

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor is responsible for inspecting guest rooms, public areas, pools, and other facilities after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met. This role involves running reports, verifying room statuses, prioritizing cleaning tasks, assisting management with daily operations, and coordinating efforts across various departments including Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. The supervisor also handles documentation, communication of room assignments and issues, manages employee development activities like hiring and training, and ensures adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

At least 1 year of related work experience.

At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Ability to follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.

Capability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance and over 55 pounds with assistance.

Ability to push and pull loaded housekeeping carts and use work-related machinery over uneven surfaces.

Physical ability to reach, bend, twist, pull, stoop, stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods.

Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.

Ability to enter and locate work-related information using computers and point of sale systems.

Capability to read and visually verify information in various formats.

Strong communication skills, both in welcoming guests and interacting with staff.

Ability to maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and uphold professional appearance.
