Job Description

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor is responsible for inspecting guest rooms, public areas, pools, and other facilities after cleaning to ensure quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry, managing daily activities, documenting and resolving issues, and assisting in employee management functions including hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching. The supervisor also ensures adherence to company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations while maintaining professional communication and relationships with guests and staff.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

At least 1 year of related work experience.

At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.

Capability to push and pull loaded housekeeping carts and other machinery over uneven surfaces.

Physical ability to reach overhead, below knees, bend, twist, pull, stoop, stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods.

Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate objects of various sizes and weights.

Basic computer and point of sale system proficiency to enter and locate work-related information.

Ability to read and visually verify information in different formats.

Effective communication skills using clear and professional language.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow safety and security policies.

Capable of performing other reasonable job duties as assigned.
