Job Description

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor at Sheraton Johor Bahru is responsible for inspecting guest rooms, public areas, pools, and other spaces after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met. This role includes running reports to verify room statuses, prioritizing cleaning tasks, updating room statuses for departing guests, and assisting housekeeping management with daily activities and coordination between departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Additionally, the supervisor manages documentation and resolution of room discrepancies, communicates issues across shifts, supports hiring, training, scheduling, and employee development, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety procedures. Physical tasks include handling housekeeping equipment and performing duties that require physical mobility and coordination. The position also involves maintaining professional appearance, confidentiality, and positively engaging with guests and team members to uphold service quality and standards.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

At least 1 year of related work experience.

At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
