As the Hotel Manager for Fairfield by Marriott Kota Kinabalu, you will serve as the strategic business leader for property operations, overseeing departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B. You will develop operational strategies that align with brand vision, drive revenue growth, and maximize financial performance. You will also lead the executive committee, manage budgets, and ensure guest satisfaction while acting as General Manager in their absence.
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Business with 6 years of experience, or a 2-year degree with 8 years.
Prior experience as a Hotel Manager in Malaysia is required.
Strong background in management operations, sales, and marketing within the hospitality industry.
Previous experience with hotel pre-opening, preferably within the Marriott portfolio.
Proficiency in the local language and English is essential.
Proven ability to manage departmental budgets and drive profitability.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to hire and develop management teams.
