Job Description

As a Housekeeping Manager, you will manage the daily shift operations, ensuring that guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas are impeccably maintained. You will conduct inspections, manage budgets, and coordinate with the Front Desk to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Manage departmental budgets and operational goals effectively.
  • Coordinate room status updates with the Front Desk.
  • Train and supervise housekeeping staff, providing performance feedback.
  • Handle guest complaints and implement service improvements.
  • Manage staffing levels and employee attendance to meet operational needs.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of professional experience in housekeeping or a related area.

Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration.

Strong supervisory skills in daily operations.

Experience in managing departmental budgets.

Proficiency in training staff and providing feedback.

Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration.

Proven ability to handle guest complaints.
