The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping, Laundry, and Recreation departments. This role ensures that all areas of the hotel are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, impacting guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
As a Housekeeping Manager, you will manage the daily shift operations, ensuring that guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas are impeccably maintained. You will conduct inspections, manage budgets, and coordinate with the Front Desk to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of professional experience in housekeeping or a related area.
Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
Strong supervisory skills in daily operations.
Experience in managing departmental budgets.
Proficiency in training staff and providing feedback.
Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration.
Proven ability to handle guest complaints.
