Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Sheraton Kota Kinabalu oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas meet the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and service. This position requires effective communication and collaboration with other departments to address any issues and enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments to manage daily activities.
  • Resolve issues related to room discrepancies and assignments.
  • Support management in employee hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Monitor performance management and adherence to company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with team members and other departments.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

At least 1 year of related work experience.

At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Attention to detail and ability to adhere to quality expectations.
