
The Hydroprocessing Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in Hydroprocessing and Hydrocracking. This role significantly impacts ExxonMobil's manufacturing facilities globally by supporting unit operations and leading process technology efforts.
The Hydroprocessing Engineer will be a key member of ExxonMobil's process engineering team, based in the Kuala Lumpur Technology Center. This role involves collaborating with global teams to provide unit operation support, troubleshooting, optimization, and leading process technology efforts for capital projects and new technology deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of work experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Refining Industry.
Prior experience in Hydroprocessing and Hydrocracking for fuels and base stocks.
Proficiency in unit operation, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Experience in project development from early screening to unit startup.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
