Job Description
The Hydroprocessing Engineer will be a key member of ExxonMobil's process engineering team, based in the Kuala Lumpur Technology Center. This role involves collaborating with global teams to provide unit operation support, troubleshooting, optimization, and leading process technology efforts for capital projects and new technology deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in Hydroprocessing and Hydrocracking.
- Support troubleshooting and optimization of unit operations.
- Collaborate with global teams on process technology efforts.
- Lead capital projects and new technology deployments.
- Conduct reactor inspections and support turnarounds.
- Evaluate and develop new technologies for deployment.
- Develop creative solutions to operational problems.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of work experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Refining Industry.
Prior experience in Hydroprocessing and Hydrocracking for fuels and base stocks.
Proficiency in unit operation, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Experience in project development from early screening to unit startup.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
