The Indirect Tax Analyst is responsible for managing and improving tax processes in the APAC region while collaborating with the global tax team. The role involves ensuring compliance, maintaining the accuracy of tax records and returns, and supporting change management and resource development.
The Indirect Tax Analyst collaborates closely with the Indirect Tax Manager and the global tax team to manage compliance, risk, and continuous improvement initiatives across the APAC region. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of tax records, returns, reconciliations, and tax codes, as well as leading change management, process documentation, and resource development.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with tax managers, global teams, and stakeholders.
Ability to ensure accuracy and integrity of tax records, returns, and reconciliations.
Capacity to manage change processes, documentation, and resource development.
Skills to prepare, review, and validate tax returns, reports, and ensure compliance.
Proficiency in liaising with data owners and providing tax research and support.
Competence in maintaining tax systems, updating tax codes, and supporting ERP enhancements.
Ability to deliver tax training and knowledge transfer to new hires.
Knowledge of tax accounting and control account reconciliation.
Capability to conduct root cause analysis, remediation, and lead audits or inquiries.
Attention to legislative changes and implementation in tax procedures.
