Role Summary
This role is an Internship in Inventory focused on assisting with stock counting and organization within a warehouse setting. The position involves working with numerical data and gaining practical experience in inventory management.
Job Description
The intern will assist in physical stock counting of consumables, rotables, and tooling items at the warehouse, verifying and recording part numbers, quantities, and bin locations. They will also reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records, label and organize inventory items, support data entry and documentation, ensure compliance with safety procedures, maintain warehouse cleanliness, and report progress or issues to supervisors or team leads.
Job Requirements
Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
Basic understanding of inventory or warehouse operations (experience in stock count preferred).
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers and item codes.
Ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Physically fit to handle warehouse activities.
Willing to work extended hours or weekends if required during the stock count period.
