The Intern (Inventory) is responsible for assisting in the management and organization of inventory within the warehouse. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate stock levels and compliance with safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
The intern will engage in daily activities that involve physical stock counting and inventory management tasks. They will work closely with supervisors and team leads to maintain accurate records and ensure the organization of consumables, rotables, and tooling items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in physical stock counting of consumables, rotables, and tooling items.
- Verify and record part numbers, quantities, and bin locations.
- Reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Label and organize inventory items effectively.
- Support data entry and documentation processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures in the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Report progress or issues to supervisors or team leads.
Job Requirements
Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
Basic understanding of inventory or warehouse operations.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers and item codes.
Ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Physically fit to handle warehouse activities.
Willing to work extended hours or weekends if required.
