Internship AutoCAD Drafter/Designer – Rack Master Industries Sdn Bhd

The Internship AutoCAD Drafter/Designer is responsible for assisting in the preparation of 2D drawings using AutoCAD. This role provides valuable exposure to drafting standards and project workflows in a collaborative environment with designers and engineers.

The AutoCAD Drafter Intern will engage in daily tasks that involve creating and updating drawings under supervision, while also learning about project requirements and standards. The intern will work closely with project teams and may participate in site visits to gather measurements and insights for accurate drafting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Update drawings based on mark-ups or instructions from senior drafters or engineers.
• Create plans, elevations, sections, and simple detailing.
• Organize and maintain drawing files and project documents.
• Prepare drawing sets for submission or internal review.
• Participate in internal discussions to learn project workflow and drawing standards.
• Support site visits to take measurements and update drawings based on site conditions.
• Learn company drafting standards and improve AutoCAD skills.
• Support any ad-hoc tasks assigned by team leaders.
