Job Description
As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the Halal certification industry, working closely with the Compliance Officer. Your day-to-day tasks will involve assisting in food safety documentation, preparing for audits, and coordinating with clients to ensure adherence to Halal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and maintaining food safety documentation.
- Support the Compliance Officer in audit preparations.
- Coordinate with clients to ensure compliance with Halal standards.
- Conduct research on Halal certification processes.
- Help organize training sessions for staff on Halal compliance.
- Monitor and report on compliance issues.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss compliance strategies.
Job Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Food Science, Halal Studies, or a related field.
Strong interest in Halal certification and food safety.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of audit processes is an advantage.
