Role Summary
This Internship Merchandiser role involves assisting with supplier communication and product detail management. The position offers experience in product development, pricing, and inventory management.
Job Description
The intern will assist in liaising with suppliers on various aspects of product development including costing, materials, and sampling. They will also liaise with other departments for arranging and distributing materials for quality control and visual merchandising purposes. Additional responsibilities include supporting product-mix development, conducting market research and data analysis, as well as learning and assisting in pricing strategy, inventory control, and purchasing management. The role involves performing any other duties assigned by the Merchandising Manager.
Job Requirements
Candidates must currently pursue a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and English.
Mandarin speakers will be an added advantage.
This is an internship position.
Contract length is 3-6 months.
Remuneration is RM900.00 per month.
