Role Summary
The Internship Software Engineer is responsible for assisting in the design, development, testing, and deployment of web or mobile applications. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with senior developers and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.
Job Description
As an intern, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve working closely with product and design teams to implement new features and improve existing systems. You will also participate in code reviews and debugging tasks to enhance your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of web or mobile applications.
- Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features.
- Improve existing systems and write clean, maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Debug applications and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Integrate APIs and document processes effectively.
- Learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and tools as needed.
Job Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Basic understanding of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, PHP, or Java.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and at least one framework (e.g. React, Laravel, Node.js, Flutter).
Knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL) is an advantage.
Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication and time management skills.
