
The Lab Technician is responsible for supporting the science department by managing resources and preparing science experiments in the laboratories. This role involves developing and maintaining effective working relationships with secondary science teachers, learners, suppliers, and external agencies.
The Lab Technician plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the science department, ensuring that all laboratory resources are well-managed and experiments are prepared efficiently. The work environment is collaborative, requiring interaction with teachers, students, and external partners to enhance the educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
A relevant degree.
Higher degree or recognized professional qualification (preferred).
Evidence of continued relevant professional development.
Experience in working in a laboratory setting (at least 2 years).
Experience in an international school environment (preferred).
Possess reasonable IT skills and knowledge, for example Microsoft (MS) Applications such as Excel and Word.
