Job Description

The Lecturer will engage in day-to-day teaching activities, curriculum design, and student mentorship in a dynamic academic environment. The role also involves conducting research and collaborating with industry partners to enhance practical learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate advertising and brand management modules.
  • Design, develop, and review curriculum to align with programme outcomes and industry needs.
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
  • Conduct research and scholarly activities in advertising, branding, or marketing.
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and seek research funding.
  • Supervise student research projects and facilitate practical learning experiences.
  • Contribute to administrative tasks such as programme coordination and student recruitment support.

Job Requirements

Possess a PhD in Media and Communication with a specialization in Advertising or a closely related field from a reputable institution.

Published at least one paper in a CI journal (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last five years.

Demonstrated experience in higher education teaching and curriculum development or substantial industry experience in advertising, branding, or marketing.

Strong industry network and knowledge of current trends in advertising and brand management.

Proficiency in creative software applications, particularly Adobe Creative Suite.
