Job Description
The Lecturer in English engages in daily teaching activities, including designing and preparing teaching materials, conducting classes, and consulting with students. The role also involves participation in curriculum development and maintaining high teaching standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare teaching materials for English courses.
- Conduct classes, tutorials, and practical sessions for students.
- Consult with students to support their learning needs.
- Participate in curriculum and program development initiatives.
- Support research projects and scholarship of postgraduate students.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including research and publications.
- Attend meetings and participate in academic committees and working groups.
Job Requirements
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in English, TESL, or relevant fields.
Have a publication record with at least 1 publication in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Experience in a higher education environment with a track record of teaching.
Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and coaching.
Proficient in developing teaching methodologies and materials.
Experience in research projects or professional consultancy work.
