The role is for a Lecturer in English responsible for teaching, developing educational materials, and guiding students. The position also involves contributing to research activities and collaborating to enhance educational programs.

The Lecturer in English is responsible for teaching and related duties such as designing, preparing, and developing teaching materials; conducting classes, tutorials, and practicals; consulting with students; invigilation; marking and assessment. The role includes contribution to programme and curriculum development, planning and implementing teaching strategies to motivate and optimize student learning, supporting research projects and scholarship of postgraduate students, and maintaining high standards of teaching and effective learning aligned with the University's expectations. In addition, the Lecturer participates in scholarly activities including research, conference presentations, journal publications, and community work. The role involves supporting research grants as a co-researcher and achieving research outcome targets. Administrative responsibilities include attending meetings, participating in committees and working groups, engaging in professional activities, and aiding in establishing external academic linkages.
