This role is for a Lecturer in Public Relations responsible for teaching, curriculum development, and supporting postgraduate research projects. The position also requires engagement in research activities, academic community involvement, and administrative duties within the department.

The Lecturer - Public Relations is responsible for undertaking teaching and teaching-related duties, including the design, preparation, and development of teaching materials, conducting classes, tutorials, and practicals, consulting with students, invigilation, marking, and assessment. The role involves participating in high-quality programme and curriculum development, planning and implementing teaching strategies to optimize student learning and motivation, supporting postgraduate research projects, and maintaining high teaching standards in line with university expectations. The lecturer will also engage in scholarly activities, such as research, conference presentations, journal publications, and community work, and support efforts to secure research grants and meet research outcome targets. Additionally, the role includes administrative responsibilities like attending departmental meetings, participating in committees and working groups, continuous professional development, and assisting in establishing linkages with external organizations and professional bodies in academic matters.
