Role Summary
The Legal Entity Controller - APAC Region is responsible for financial oversight to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements and reporting. This role operates within the OSTTRA Finance Team, focusing on process improvements and internal controls in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
As a Legal Entity Controller, you will engage in day-to-day financial oversight, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards. You will work collaboratively within a dynamic team, driving process enhancements and maintaining high standards of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reporting.
- Oversee statutory audit, tax compliance, and month-end processes.
- Manage process and system transitions, particularly with SAP.
- Lead a team in a global environment, focusing on recruitment and training.
- Present complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
- Analyze financial data and trends to support decision-making.
- Review financial data, reconciliations, and journal entries meticulously.
Job Requirements
12-15 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting.
Advanced knowledge of SFRS, local standards, IFRS, and US GAAP.
Experience in managing pre and post-implementation phases of systems.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
