Job Description

As a Legal Entity Controller for APAC Legal entities within the OSTTRA Finance Team, this role focuses on financial oversight to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements and reporting. The position requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to process improvements to enhance accuracy, internal controls, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

Experience of 12-15 years in accounting or finance roles, with focus on statutory audit, tax, compliances and month-end processes.

Good understanding of accounting principles including US GAAP and financial reporting, especially staff costs accounting.

Advanced knowledge of SFRS, local standards, IFRS, and US GAAP.

Experience in process and system transitions, preferably SAP, and ability to manage pre and post-implementation phases.

Team lead experience in a global working environment including recruitment, onboarding, training, goal setting and performance management.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to clearly present complex financial information to stakeholders.

Strong quantitative and analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and trends.

Meticulous attention to detail in reviewing financial data, reconciliations, and journal entries.

Ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments and effectively manage competing priorities.

Proactive and solution-oriented problem-solving skills.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas and pivot tables.

Extensive experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or Dayforce for payroll and general ledger functions.

Professional accounting certifications such as CA or equivalent are preferred.

Specialization in legal entity controlling for at least 10 years is preferred.

Strong experience with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
